Tonight marks the start of awards season with the Golden Globes. I have to say that I LOVE awards season! I love watching the shows with my bff and making fun of all the ugly fashions. It always amazes us that there is always at least one dress that we hate but the “fashion police” love. My favorite disgusting outfit of last year was the garbage bag Tilda Swinton wore to the 2008 Oscars. Here is what it looked like:

It’s also always fun for us to speculate who will win and enviably get outraged at some of the choices of winners. Anyway TTFN.

I got the Samsung Propel and I love it. Of course when I was out walking I dropped it twice and now it is slightly scratched. It’s only a little scratched though so it’s not too bad, and I am so clumsy so it was only a matter of time before I got it scratched anyway. I love it because it has a full keypad but it is not a Blackberry so for the unlimited media plan I just added it is only $15 a month rather than $30, which it is for the Blackberry. Anyway I am really happy with it and this phone I might actually keep for the two year plan rather than upgrading after a year and a half. So TTFN.

I hope everyone had a very Merry and safe Christmas. I also want to tell anyone who might be reading this to please remember not to drink and drive! That being said I hope Santa got everyone what they wanted; I got a bunch of really nice clothes. My mom got some stuff from Aeropostal and my sister got me a few cloths from there as well along with a nice new pair of sneakers that I really needed. I also got around $200 in money and gift cards which was cool. My mom cooked dinner and my sister, brother-in-law, their five kids, my brother-in-law’s parents, sister, her husband and their two kids, and lastly my aunt and uncle. All in all it was a nice Christmas and there managed to be no huge fights, for a change. So “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!”

Well tomorrow is Christmas Eve and you know what comes next, Christmas Day! I don’t know why I am getting excited about it, I had no idea what I wanted so I have no clue what people got for me. Still I am excited to see if everyone likes what I got for them maybe, even more then I am to see what my mom ended up getting for me. Every year my mom never asks me what I want but she usually ends up getting me nice things so this year should be no different. What I like best that she usually give me is cash! My mom knows cash is what I really need so she give it to me I usually get at least $100 which will be useful when I go to Disney World in Feb. Anyway TTFN!

So I actually don’t have to work tonight which is nice. You’d be surprised how much nothing I miss out on by being at work all night. For instance take my favorite singer David Cook and his band. Sure it doesn’t seem like being a fan of David Cook is a full time job but there is always news coming out throughout the day (not to mention all the clips and videos that come out) and nighttime is when I catch up on the day’s events.
So now I’m catching up on the entire week. I just found out that Cook is campaigning to win “Best Year Ever,” and from the campaign video I learned that he can make fart noises out of his armpits. Also, lead guitarist Neal Tiemann has revealed he has a tattoo of his Great Dane, Mr Sixx, on his right arm. If this all sounds trivial, one member of Cook’s band has become a father this week (okay, so technically drummer Kyle Peek’s son is around two years old but until Monday nobody knew this information and now he’s released pictures with the little guy so that is big!)
Anyway, so I’m off again tomorrow which means I should be all caught up on the useless information that makes my life so worthwhile. Also I will be able to see CNN special investigation Planet in Peril, staring Anderson Cooper Something I’ve been looking forward to since last year’s addition air in October 2007. Sure Jeff Corwin won’t be in this installment and therefore nobody will have to be saved from elephants at playtime, but three straight hours of the Coop in a tight tee-shirt, now that’s must see TV!

I’m watching the show right now and I find it interesting that the first hour is only seen on the east coast, or maybe just in the tri-state area I’m not sure which it is. My two boyfriends David Cook and Neal Tiemann performed and OMG they sounded and looked amazing! But before I go on and on about their awesomeness I want to say that I find it really sad that Faith Hill robbed Cindy McCain’s closet and stole her hair dresser. Now back to DC he did his own arrangements of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “War is Over.” I LOVED them both but I have to say I liked “War is Over” better the arrangement was awesome there is just no other way to describe it. If someone puts them up on youtube I’ll post them later but ttfn.

So I got up at five am, well actually I should say I got dressed at five am because last night I was too excited to sleep, to go into the city to line up outside the Virgin Megastore and buy David Cook’s new album. That was a long sentence, lol. Anyway the first like 500 people to buy the cd got passes to see DC and the band performed at the Hard Rock Cafe tonight. I was among those people and DC and the band rocked out once again, they were amazing! A quick note I have taken to calling Neal aka the dr. of David’s band my boyfriend because, well I am in love with him. But I realized tonight that when a guy who looks like this dr.jpg (actually he is hotter now but that was the best bad ass pic of him I could find) blew a kiss and made a heart with his hands at his gf I don’t stand a chance. Oh well a girl can still dream can’t she? Anyway my bff had an amazing experience with David when he signed her cd and I was so happy and excited for her that all I could get out was “You were just so amazing!” all the while stuttering. Lol oh well she got a hug from DC and I am so happy for her next time I’ll get a hug, it’s my new goal in life. That is actually kind of sad for me that that is my biggest goal, oh well TTFN!

I saw David Cook at the Hard Rock last night and he was amazing! First of all let me say a little bit about the event. David Wright of the Mets has a foundation that helps children in need, and last night was his annual event “Do The Wright Thing.” I myself am a Yankees fan so if David Cook had not been performing at the gala I wouldn’t have given it a second thought. Since he was I had to splurge on the $150 ticket. It was worth every penny I was about, I’d say no more than 20 feet from David and the rest of the band. By the way not only is David Cook gorgeous but the rest of the band are all uber hot as well. Neal Tieman, aka the dr. is not bad to look at either he is probably my second favorite after David. Anyway I’ve got more good news, not only do they look good but they sound just as good. I can’t wait till the album comes out Tuesday; David Cook is a lucky man to have such a talented group of people in his band! That’s all for now, TTFN!

I’m sure by now everyone knows Barack Obama is the President Elect! Some other amazing news in Indiana Obama got 61% of the vote. If you read yesterday’s blog you know this is amazing because Indiana hasn’t got Democrat in 44 years! Obama won 329 electoral votes and McCain only 163. Also according to CNN the returns are still processing for Missouri and North Carolina. Obama won 52% of the popular vote beating McCain 62, 974, 970 to 55,772,391, that means 118,747,361 voted which is a HUGE voter turnout! One last thing if anyone is reading this and you know why we say “an historic election” and “a historic election” please explain. I was thinking it was because you say an election but I could be wrong. Anyway that’s all for today, TTFN!

I was going to be bad and not blog today because I am glued to my TV watching election returns. Some major news just came across; CNN projects Obama will take Pennsylvania! This is huge news, because all day analysts have been saying that for McCain to win, he really had to carry Pennsylvania. As it stands right not based on projections Obama has 102 electoral votes and McCain has 34. In other major news Indiana, hasn’t voted Democrat 44 years, is still too close to call; this is HUGE! Well that is all for now I am going to go back to being glued to my TV watching the results and keeping my figures crossed that by this time tomorrow America will have elected the first African-American president! TTFN!
