Since finishing the Twilight series I haven’t read anything. In the summer I got the new David Sedaris book but I haven’t read it yet. I got into reading other things so I never read it, I started to and I even read a few stories but for some reason I wasn’t that into it. I love all of his other books and loved them so I can’t imagine why I didn’t get into it. Oh well maybe I’ll give it another try and this time I’ll be able to get into it. I don’t have any series that I want to read so I shouldn’t be distracted. Anyway TTFN. Oh, in other news my bff and I are going to Disney World again, for the last four years we’ve gone every January, in February!

I am very excited because I am speeding through Breaking Dawn, the last book in the Twilight series. It is very exciting and I can’t wait to see how it ends. The book is actually broken up into three books, the first is from Bella’s point of view, the second is from Jacob Black’s point of view, and the last is from Bella’s again. Right now I’m in the second book and I don’t want to put it down. I didn’t think I would like that section of the book because I did not like the idea of the book not being in Bella’s POV since the rest of the series was. However it is interesting to see Jacob’s take on things. Anyway I’m going to go back to reading, TTFN!

Okay so today I finally finished New Moon, that’s the second of four books in Stephanie Meyer’s series. It took me a lot longer to finish this book then it did for me to finish Twilight and I’ve finally figured out why. The reason I didn’t like this one as much is because for most of the book the love story wasn’t there. In the beginning of the book Edward leaves Bella because he believes it is what’s best for her. While I’ll admit I didn’t like a majority of the book I’ll say that overall I was happy with it. I liked the ending and it set the stage nicely for the next book in the series. Anyway the book was really good I guess the hopeless romantic that lives somewhere deep inside me wouldn’t let me like the book as much because the lovers were not together. So here’s to hoping I like book number three better. TTFN!

I’ll admit so far I don’t like this book as much as I liked Twilight but after about 250 pages I’m finally starting to like it. I’d say I’m probably about half way through the book and now it’s getting interesting. The plot is kind of predictable but it’s starting to get moving now. I think I’ve realized why I don’t like it as much as the first book, here’s the spoiler, Edward it not in it. After the first few chapters he leaves Bella because it is what’s best for her. What I liked most about Twilight was the love story between the mortal and the vampire. Anyway I’m getting the feeling that he is coming back so I think I’ll end up liking the book overall. At points I considered not finishing it but I kept telling myself, “It will get better.” So far my persistence has paid off. Anyway when I’m finished will it I’ll probably write a full review. That’s all for now, TTFN.

I gave in I got the book today. I couldn’t resist it was only like $9 so I said what the heck I’ll buy it. Even though I’m broke I thought to myself “What’s $9 more on my credit card bill?” Anyway tonight I’m planning on diving right into it. As I said in my last post the first chapter held my attention so much that I even want to start reading it right now. However, I have to go for a walk after I finish writing this so I’ll just wait till later. I can’t wait till I finish the series because I have an idea on how it’s going to end already. Anyway that’s all for now, TTFN!

I have to say from the first fifty pages or so of Twilight I wasn’t really that interested. However after the first few boring chapters the book really picks up. In fact I couldn’t put it down; I just had to know how it ended. So much so that I read more the half of the book yesterday and wouldn’t stop till I finished it which was about 12 a.m.
Although it might start out slow this book is defiantly worth reading. Stephanie Meyer’s captivating love story leaves you longing for more and she gives you a taste of what is coming next. The paperback version of the book has the first chapter of the next book in the series New Moon.
I got the book out from the library since I don’t really have money to spend except for the essentials, which would be paying the minimum on my credit cards. Now I am on a waiting list for New Moon and after reading the first chapter I am very tempted to go buy it tomorrow that’s how good that chapter was. Anyway, I would defiantly recommend Meyer’s books to anyone interested in the genre, in case you didn’t know that genre would be vampires. Ta ta for now!
