Election 2008
Election Day is right around the corner, seven days to be exact, and I want to take the time to encourage everyone to vote. I also want to take this time to urge everyone to vote for Barack Obama. I feel that this country needs a change and he can bring that change.
I have to admit when Hillary Clinton did not get the Democratic nomination I was planning on not even voting. However after seeing both her and Bill’s speeches at the Democratic National Convention I knew I had to vote for Obama. John McCain will only bring four more years of the failed Republican policies the Bush administration has put into effect.
If you decide to stay home and not vote you forfeit your right to complain about the country. It is especially important for young people to get out and vote, we do not all vote and it is important that we have our voices heard. Vote, vote, vote, together we can make a change in this country!
